The days are just packed......

There was a time when I had a routine in my life...but that was long back...when i was in school, to be exact. Get up, get ready, have breakfast and off to school. Come back, chill out, study, dinner and off to bed. Then came the college where there was no such thing as a time table that was followed. Well, if teachers don't need a routine, why the heck should we? That was the beginning of the spot decision kind of life. No class in the afternoon....next second comes the decision...cricket...or a movie...That was a really fun time of life..then we moved into the IIT. IIT is about 10 times my engineering college..so i compensated by making my life 10 times routineless...nightouts- both for academic and counterstrike/age of empire purposes became the norm of the day and if not night outs then it was playing tennis at 3 in the morning. Well IIT never sleeps is another matter altogether. At whichever time you decide to take a stroll through the campus, you will find people on the road, lovebirds, junkies, bhasad groups and what not. That was a time when we could never have enough time to do everything...something was always left undone..and most of the times it was studies..kya hai yaar...padhaai to har jagah hota hai...har jagah aisi LAN thode milta hai...to poora utilise karo facilities ko...Maan..I miss those times....when we used to swear by DC++..the omnipotent..the provider of all needs...the ultimate..And now it seems life is coming in a full circle...Something like a routine creeping into my day to day activities...Get up at 8...thanks to a wakeup call full of love...get ready by 9. Reach the bus stop by 9.15, take a share auto from there to bus stand..catch bus no. 15B to office. Reach office by around 10.30 and get going with the daily grind. Return to flat after dinner by 8.30. Sit in front of the PC...gaming...browsing..watching TV (that too on PC)...till 10. From 10-11 phone calls..Another stint of gaming (Currently Return to Castle Wolfenstein) for half an hour and then off to bed you go. for(i= monday; i<= friday;i++) (For any computer illiterates out there...and i know there is atleast one reading this, this means repeat from monday to friday). Then comes saturday and sunday when miraculously one day shrinks to 12 hours. I don't know how but before i realise, the weekend is over. Due to this grind, the one off break gains utmost importance. And such a break is just round the corner for me...next weekend..Onam...am going home on friday...am damn happy :D. I make sure that every month I have something to look forward to. Now i have my activities planned till november. God and boss relenting, I will have a small break each month. Touchwood. So thats all guys...One last thing before i end this post...this thing about routine being necessary..is way over rated. There is no fun like being the creature of the moment. Ride on the wings of your fancy...be dynamic..do what your heart tells you to...do everything before you get shackled in the chain called routine.
