Its been more than a month and not a single blog entry from me....Well thats not acceptable at all...Atleast when I used to write the diary, I unerringly posted an entry on the Jan 1st. This year, no diary writing ..enough diaries have been wasted. This year I thought of a writing a Blog on Jan 1st...Well now you all know how that turned out to be...Anyways...this being the first blog entry of the year, one might be tempted to touch upon the topic of New year resolutions....Well, My new year resolution has been the same for about the last 10 years..Don't take any resolution that you won't be able to keep...Other than that, on the topic of resolutions, I have the same opinion as Calvin ( of the Calvin and Hobbes fame). You don't know what he thinks about New Year resolutions? Well go find out yourself....After all, I had told you a long time ago to start reading calvin and hobbes...This is what happens when you don't do your homework.
Another thing that has my attention this year, you could call it my latest crush or craze or something like that...is photography. See I had a 2MP digital camera and I was pretty happy with it. Then, thanks to Orkut, I came across an Old friend who keeps a photoblog. Going through her blog showed me the unexplored realms of photography that I have been ignoring. Check out this blog www.jeenajayakumar.blogspot.com The pictures in there truly are worth a thousand words or more..So now my interest was captured and the next step is to get a camera that will serve all my needs...and now I just might have found the one..Olympus SP 510 UZ. 7.1 MP, 10X optical zoom with digital image stabilisation. I will be buying that soon and then you can expect a more picture laden blog than the boring text that you usually get. And while I am on the topic of Megapixels, here is a little tidbit...Do you know what is the resolution of our eyes? I read somewhere that it is around 26-27 Mega pixels...Don't know how much true that is..but still ....Thats all for now guys and gals....I promise that you won't have to wait another month for the next blog entry...Till then this is Venu signing off...Ciao.
